The Qantas Matildas wrapped up their final match against the Chinese National team with a 1-all draw at the Chinese Football Association National Training Centre near Beijing last night.
After winning the first match of the two-game series 2-0 on Tuesday the Qantas Matildas went ahead with Lisa de Vanna putting the visitors in front after 34 minutes.
China equalised in the 74th minute with Duan Fang Fang finishing off a good cross from Zhang Ou Ying.
Australian coach Adrian Santrac was satisfied with the result but acknowledged that the team would need to continue improving.
"A win and a draw against the fifth best nation in their backyard is a good result from this tour," said Santrac.
"While we didn't play as well as we would have hoped today we did draw the game which is a good sign because with improvement we know we can win matches against quality opposition."
The game was halted with nine minutes remaining due to an electrical storm.
The Qantas Matildas will return to Sydney briefly on Saturday before departing for further Olympic preparation matches against Mexico and USA.
