The New Zealand national side toured Australia in 1954 and played a match against the Granville District side at Macarthur Park. The Granville District side was composed of players from the Auburn and Granville clubs in Sydneys western suburbs. The New Zealand side took the Granville side too lightly and paid the price. | ||||
