This match was a one off game against visiting German club side VfB Stuttgart. Prague fielded their best eleven including guest player Tommy Docherty who was in Sydney as coach of the visiting Chelsea club side. Despite the 3-1 scoreline the press reports the game was of an exceptionally high standard with a good crowd of 6,000 in attendance. It was also interesting to note that coach of the VfB Stuttgart side was none other than Rudi Gutendorf, who would go onto being Australian National Team coach for the unsuccessful 1978 World Cup campaign. | ||||
