The English club side Chelsea toured Australia in May and June 1965. Fresh from the 1964/5 English First Division season, Chelsea came to Australia with a full strength side that included the likes of English international Barry Bridges and a 22 year old Terry Venables who would go onto be Australian National Team coach for the ill fated 1998 World Cup campaign. For this match, Tasmania fielded three guest Victorian players Mike Jurecki, Frank Donlevy and Terry Hartley. | ||||
