The St George Budapest club were invited to participate in an international tournament in Japan. Other invited teams were Danish first division club Frem, Japan 'A' and Japan 'B'. The first match of the tournament was against the Japanese A side. During the tournament St George played a friendly match against the club side FC Hitachi in Ominya about 65 kilometres from Tokyo. | ||||
