| In January 1997 the South Korean national side participated in the Optus World Series Tournament against Australia, New Zealand and Norway. Following these commitments the side decided to stay an additional couple of weeks to conduct a training camp under new coach Bum Kun Cha. As part of this camp they played a few practise games in Sydney against various club sides. This match against UTS Olympic was one of these games. This also was the last game in charge for coach David Ratcliffe who was sacked from the club at a board meeting the following night. | ||||
