First thing I noticed when I rolled up at Olympics Belmore was a very hungry looking Parra side and an even more hungry Joe Miller.. Although he gave away alot of ball initially he did have that hunger of 'Im pissed off with all this' attitude and just Ran and Ran at Olympic who were prolly saying to themselves 'who the f**is this keen bastonian'...
Parra just seemed to be thinking of South Melbourne all over again and couldnt give a shite as some flaking kicks roared the ball outa the Parra defence as Olympic Strove Forth in all their flair and search of glory.. Twas a sequence of frustration upon frustration that wore them down.. Alex Tobin was showing all the good reasons why Adelaide City should never have betrayed his loyalty to the Zebras of the Oz South Coast and in doing so equalled the NSL Record of appearances..
Alex Tobin You Are A Legend Of Australian Football. Take a Major Bow Ol Son..
At half time it was 0-1 to the Parra Lads and Olympic were mightely pissed off as one could imagine being unbeaten at home thus far in the league......... Joe Miller stole through to Lash the ball hard as *Asunder to rip the top right hand corner of the net to leave Olympic wondering how it ever got that far in the first place...
Joel Griffo came on in the second half for Parra and he was more hungry than I have ever seen him in a long while as far as chasing everything he had a sniff at... Being on the bench for to long had him at anything that moved but it twas that man again the celt ol Joey Miller who again stole through Yonce Again to Lash Olympic a second Lashing to Rub in the best of Rubbing Ins.. Olympic at home were absolutely stumped !!!!
The beer tasted very Grand indeed in such a strange place and made for a fine evening in light of the fact Parra were to be under the Hammer at Belmore as was so said ?? but the hammer Rebounded with the The Greatest of Force...
That name again..
Joe Miller......
