Just a few quick words about the Syd Utd V Souths game:
The brawl at the end of the game occured when a large group of Syd Utd. fans walked over and confronted a handful of South "supporters". The irony is however that most of those involved in the brawl were Syd. Olympic supporters who came down to "support" Souths. The big dude with his shirt off (as you may have seen on television) is NOT a South fan. During the brawl chairs were ripped up and thrown down from the top tier of the Cronin stand.
The other disgraceful incidents happened on the bus trip. On the way home to Melbourne, police were called at every BP roadstop because of the little fucking shits (aged 14 to 17) causing trouble:
* THEY LIT A FLARE AT THE PETROL STATION!!!!!! The owner went absolutely off his head. And who could blame him? The flare was lit just under a 3000 litre petrol reserve. I couldn't believe what I was seeing.
* Shoplifting occured on the way up to Parramatta from the BP roadstations. Police came and the buses were not allowed to leave until two cameras that were stolen were returned. These were not returned so everyone had to chip in and pay for them. (The police claim they have video footage of all the shoplifting.) Even through people knew who the culprits were...too scared to speak out! (Just like the club is.......)
* A window broken on one of the buses.
* Staff were terrorised and verbally abused at a Hungry Jacks. Food was thrown at the staff. The police were called once again.
A very interesting weekend.........memories came flooding back from the last roadtrip to Parramatta (Marconi 7 V Souths 0...still hurts to say it..stop smiling Fred! :)
