Adelaide started the better, only for Mori to waste the best chance of the game. Another slip by Mori and it looked like one of those days... Clarkson went on to put South 1-up. But Mori (quickest player I have seen to get back up off his feet) pushed his way through a couple of tackles and set up Brooks for the equaliser. Honors shared at half time.
Second half, and South Melbourne looked just as bad as they did against Perth. Mori giving Baser a bath, and got his 100th goal heading from a corner, with Baser's assistance. Mori desperately wanted more, and he was rewarded with a fine individual goal that made it 101 nsl goals for Mori and 3-1 on the night.
There was little Sth Melb appeared to create in the second half, and when they brought on Curcija it was goodnight. (Still laughing at Paul Wade's suggestion that Curcija should be pushing for national selection on the "Kick Off" program last week).
