Yes, yes, I know. Newcastle are unlikely to have had 12 players on the pitch but until I find some evidence as to who wasn't there I can't tell. I've seen references and pictures of players to eliminate to reduce the likely phantom to North, Thompson, Kohler or Hearfield. My money is on Hearfield because he plays a similar role to Wheelhouse and those two don't usually show up in the same lineup. Plus North is captain and the other two seem to be regulars. Getty images muddies the waters further by claiming Craig Deans was on the pitch at some stage, but the round 3 preview listed Deans as injured. This caper is hard.. trust me.
