The Australian squad travelled to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia to play a friendly match against the Kuwait national team. Two days earlier they played a friendly game against the Malaysian Olympic Team. This match was the last game that the Socceroos played against B opponents. All the 'official' games organised for the Socceroos by the Australian Soccer Federation since have been against national teams and are thus considered to be A international matches. | ||||
