Description

A knock out style competition open to all league clubs based in the Sydney Metropolitan and Illawarra areas. First instituted in 1940 it ran until 1958 under the direction of the New South Wales Soccer Football Association.
It was not instituted by the Federation of New South Wales Soccer Clubs when they became the outright governing body for the code in 1959.
