Tasmanian State Representative Games 1963
1963 Tasmanian State Representative Matches

Written and researched by Greg Stock

The newly formed Australian Soccer Federation decided to hold an Australian Representative Championship competition including every major soccer centre in the series. Sydney was a seperate entity to Newcastle who were joined by Victoria, South Australia, Queensland, Western Australia and Tasmania. The competition took place over two full seasons in 1963 and 1964 as staging the entire series required twenty matches with ten games played in each season so as not to disrupt the local competitions.
