NOTE: This is not the official table. No copy of it was found in the newspapers of the day. It is based on the results published in The Age, The Argus and The Sun. It has been assumed that the cancelled Round Six match between the 8th AEC (whose record and fixtures were taken over by Nobels) v South Yarra was never rescheduled.
The season was played in two phases. The clubs played each other once in the first 11 rounds, then the League was split into two sections for the remaining 5 rounds.
