| Well the first half developed as a game where there were relatively few chances at either end, which given the record of the two sides so far was surprising, and a lot of midfield turnovers. The main point of interest was the battle between Kasey Wehrman and old campaigner Andrew Marth for midfield supremacy. Finally in the second half Brisbane scored the goal they had been threatening when Sean Cranney broke free on the left and sent a cross to the far post which Andrew Harper easily headed past Anastasiadis, mainly thanks to his marker going too far towards the centre of goal. The rest of the game Carlton spent trying to find a way to an equaliser and failing. | ||||
