Competition Rules: 2 points for a win; 1 point for a draw Champions, promotions and relegations Croydon City were crowned 1986 Victorian Men's State League Champions. Melbourne and Ringwood City were relegated to the 1987 Victorian Men's League Division 1. With the relegation of Green Gully from the 1986 National Soccer League, the Victorian State League would increase to fifteen teams in 1987. |
