Northcote City were crowned 2013 Victorian Premier League Minor Premiers.
Northcote City, Melbourne Knights, Bentleigh Greens, South Melbourne and Green Gully Cavaliers contested the 2013 Finals Series.
Northcote City were crowned 2013 Victorian Premier League Champions.
Richmond and Southern Stars were automatically relegated.

Football Federation Victoria introduced the National Premier Leagues Victoria in 2014, with an application process and selection criteria used to determine entrants in the rebranded 14-team league. The four entities which joined the existing Premier League clubs were Heidelberg United and Werribee City from the 2013 Victorian State League Division 1, Ballarat Red Devils from the 2013 Victorian State League Division 2 North-West and the newly formed club from Shepparton, Goulburn Valley Suns.
