Competition Rules: 3 points for a win; 1 point for a draw Notes regarding the 2021 Victorian Women's State League season After the abandonment of the 2020 Victorian Women's State League season, the 2021 season proved to be an exercise in interruption. The fourth lockdown in Victoria owing to the COVID-19 global pandemic occurred between May 28 and June 10 and resulted in the suspension of Rounds 8 and 9 which were rescheduled to the weekends of August 15 and September 3-5 respectively. Competition resumed on June 19, with Rounds 10-12 concluded before the fifth lockown was announced on July 16. Rounds 13 and 14 were postponed before restrictions were eased on July 28. Round 15 resumed and concluded on August 1, but the sixth and final lockdown was announced the following week on August 6, which ultimately lasted 77 days through to October 21. Football Victoria ultimately cancelled the Victorian Women's State League season on September 3 and announced the season outcomes below.
