Competition Rules: 2 points for a win; 1 point for a draw Champions, promotions and relegations Greensborough were crowned 1976 Victorian Men's District League North Champions. Greensborough were promoted to the 1977 Victorian Men's Provisional League Division 1. Thomastown and Bulleen were promoted to the 1977 Victorian Men's Provisional League Division 2. A reorganisation of the Victorian Provisional and District Leagues in 1977 resulted in the removal of the zonal system. Gladstone Park and Regent Bulla were allocated to the 1977 Victorian Men's District League Division 1. Mitcham and Rosanna were allocated to the 1977 Victorian Men's District League Division 2. Banksia and Diamond Creek were allocated to the 1977 Victorian Men's District League Division 3. La Trobe University were allocated to the 1977 Victorian Men's District League Division 4. Amalgamations, name changes and withdrawals Galveston disbanded after Round 13 and did not compete in Victorian Men's District League competition in 1977. |
