Oakleigh Cannons, Altona Magic, South Melbourne, Heidelberg United, Kingston City and Green Gully Cavaliers contested the 2006 Finals Series.
South Melbourne were crowned 2006 Victorian Premier League Champions.
Frankston Pines were automatically relegated to the 2007 Victorian State League Division 1.
Essendon Royals avoided relegation when the league expanding to 16 teams in 2017 with the inclusion of the Australian Institute of Sport.
NOTE: Essendon Royals were deducted one competition point for fielding an ineligble player.
